
Toyota's U.S. sales in March and returned substantial discounts helped win back customers who were shocked by the amount of security companies, remember.
The Japanese carmaker has seen its U.S. sales jumped 40.7% last month from a year earlier. The sharp rise came after sales fell by 8.7% in February.
Ford and General Motors saw its sales increase last month, an increase of 39.8% and 20.6% respectively.
Chrysler, the third of the "Big Three" U.S. car manufacturers, saw its sales fall by 8.3%.
Toyota has sold over eight million cars worldwide recall because of problems with the 'accelerator and brakes.
"The strong March sales of Toyota performance of our customers have continued confidence in the safety and reliability of our vehicles reflects their confidence in the brand," said Don Esmond, senior vice president of automotive operations for Toyota Motor Sales USA.
"We are on our car, and we are grateful that our customers are from Toyota."
Toyota is the largest automaker in the world, both in terms of sales and marketing.
Nissan's U.S. sales increased by 43,3% in March, while 15,4% of Hyundai said.
