Apple's gonna release iPad

Apple iPad expected to be available in the United States on April 3, the company said Friday.

"iPad is something completely new," Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a posting Friday on the website of the company. "We are happy for customers to get their hands on this revolutionary and magical product and with their applications and content in a more intimate, intuitive and fun than ever."
On January 27, the iPad is designed to act as a sort of "missing link" between your smartphone and laptop.
It is almost a 10-inch screen, runs existing applications from Apple Store applications and is available in 16-gigabyte, 32 gigabyte and 64 gigabyte versions. This is a half inch thick and weighs one pounds and half.
Rates start at $ 499 for a 16-gigabyte version, $ 599 for 32 gig and $ 699 for 64, Jobs said that the announcement of the glittering company in San Francisco, California.
