
A small plane crashed in a neighborhood in Palo Alto Wednesday morning after it reportedly hit a power transmission tower. It was reported that 3 people were died at the spot.
The twin-engine Cessna broke into burning pieces that fell to the ground setting two houses on fire. The accident happened at 7:55 a.m. local time and caused widespread power outages to the area
The plane crashed in a neighborhood across from the runway from the Palo Alto Airport. The plane had taken off from the airport headed for Hawthorne Municipal Airport in southern California.
All the commercial airports in the Bay area were reportedly experiencing low visibility from fog.
As per one witness, he saw the plane hit the tower. Officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
